Nitrogen Gaseous and Liquid Pure  

Nitrogen is inert to nearly all substances at ambient temperatures and moderate conditions. Nitrogen keeps laser cut faces oxide-free, due to the chemical inertness, to react with the atmosphere. Nitrogen gas is only slightly soluble in a wide range of liquids and is therefore used to flush unwanted gases from solutions. Common applications include:

  • Blanketing and purging applications to displace or dilute all unwanted gas or vapor

  • Inerting reactors and storage tanks

  • Purging vessels and pipelines

  • Tyre inflation: helps to extend tyre life and prevent tire bursts

  • Shielding or assist gas for plasma cutting aluminum and stainless steel, and as an assist gas for laser cutting

  • Pressurising accumulators for batch-testing applications

Nitrogen is a key cryogenic agent in cooling, chilling and food freezing. It also plays an essential role in reducing spoilage, discoloration and off–flavors of baked goods, while giving strength to retail packaging.

We sell Nitrogen in small, lightweight, refillable cylinders which have a standard Nitrogen valve so your existing regulator will fit.

This kit includes the Nitrogen bottle which is full of gas 600 litres of compressed Nitrogen (0.6m3), a Nitrogen regulator with maximum inlet pressure 20,000kpa, and an inert gas hose that is rated to 1500kPa.

 

The gas hose is suitable for Argon, MIG gas, Helium and nitrogen & has fittings on each end that connect directly onto the regulator. The fittings are brass and are a 5/8-18 UNF right-hand thread.

The gas cylinder is sold as “Rent-Free” so the cost includes purchasing your own cylinder, which you can then refill for $70 including postage to you.

 

The cost for the first cylinder alone is usually $235.00, the regulator is $100, and the hose is $40, but in this Nitrogen kit we have discounted all the parts to make it easy to get started.

The price for all the parts, delivered to you is $310.00

Once that cylinder has been emptied simply send it back to us with your details and we will provide a replacement refilled cylinder and ship it back to you.

Refills are currently $70.00 including delivery.

 

Return Instructions:

The empty cylinder will be returned to the factory  The cost to return will vary depending on your location.  Cost from metro areas is normally around $12-15.
